Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET)

What Is Neuro-Emotional Technique?

NET is based on the concept that unresolved emotional trauma is stored in the body and re-experienced as physical symptoms.

The connection between mental and physical health, acknowledged in eastern medicine since ancient times, has been validated in recent years by neuroscience research. We now know that emotions are stored throughout the body (physiologic memory) as well as in the brain (psychologic memory.)

Emotions may get “stuck” within the body and cause pain and dysfunction. Stuck emotions may emerge as symptoms of an illness without our conscious awareness of the past trauma or its association with a particular disorder in our present.

Is NET The Same As Psychology?

NET is NOT psychology. NET identifies emotional trauma using muscle testing, not “talk-it-through therapies.” In fact, the patient never even has to reveal what the trauma is to the doctor. The result can be achieved in total privacy.

NET was developed by Dr. Scott Walker in the 1980’s.
